As a retired Education Specialist, I initially used art as a way to relate to a specific group of students. Recently, I found myself becoming a part of that group—and art took on a new role in my life: healing. My work is rooted in memory and emotion, using abstract forms and bold acrylic colors to reflect the inner landscapes shaped by my personal journey. I draw inspiration from the beauty of everyday life—especially the vivid colors and textures I remember from long walks and bike rides, when I was more physically free. Those sights have stayed with me, and I try to honor them on canvas. Creating art is not just a reflection of what I've seen—it's a way of expressing what I continue to feel.
